September 24, 2021 - More leather and smoke, with slightly diminishing blackberry notes and probably about a year or 2 past its peak now. Still thoroughly enjoyable ??

August 2, 2021 - Blackberries, oak and a slight hint of graphite.. a classical Pauillac, and one we enjoyed on the most painful of days. Dad we will miss you... We had this paired with our Hokkien Mee dinner from Ahwa 222. Drink the 2007 now, I think this must have peaked a year or two ago. Still a worthy Clerc Milon ????

May 12, 2017 - AHA Heart's Delight Vintners Dinner - Mouton Rothschild (Washington DC - Mellon Auditorium): Tastes very old compared to the 2009. I thought this was at least 10 years older. A little more light tobacco on the nose than the 2009.

This improved over 30 minutes otherwise it would have been a 87?

September 19, 2014 - Agree with many of the previous posts, good for the vintage. Lighter color, body, and tannin than other stronger vintage years. Leaner red fruits of cranberry and raspberry are mixed with a crisp short + finish.

June 6, 2014 - A fine Pauillac - especially for the vintage - showing tobacco, violets, blackberry and cedar; this is already heading into the secondary zone. The tannins are grainy and the finish is medium. Drink now - 2024.

June 6, 2014 - My first time having this wine. I think it did suffer from the poor vintage. Just lacking in everything. Nose, body, complexity. It's not awful, and probably worth drinking for $22 (I got it on a deep discount), but I'm sure they do better when the weather cooperates. It did taste like an actual Bordeaux and not a pumped up new world bottle though, so kudos for that.
