April 10, 2009 - A pleasant, but not memorable quaff. An airy and bright nose of cherries and strawberry, earth, and a light-bodied and lively wine reflecting the same. Not the same rusticity as the previous note, seems to have melowed.

September 28, 2008 - Earthy, gamey, herbal nose, with menthol, barnyard, and a touch of forest floor. Middle weight red and blue fruits on the palate, raspberry licorice, tasty but austere and a bit simple. Not terrifically complex, but there is pure, sweet pinot fruit (with rustic acidity). This could benefit from a few years in the cellar, but this does not have the chops for long-term development, I do not think.
