May 30, 2009 - Good fruit, easy to drink. Nothing overly to complex going on here but nice red fruits, cocoa and oak. Tannins resolved, nice balance with mild acidity.

January 6, 2006 - Dark ruby with violet hues. Fruit forward nose with ripe blackberry aroma and some bell pepper, herbal notes. Smooth in the palate, however even if the fruit is firmed by good acidity and finely integrated tannins, the overall sensation is one of heaviness, lack of freshness. It's a nice wine, but a bit too opulent for my liking. Nice, bitter-chocolate flavor finish.
