August 12, 2011 - Great floral berry nose! Well integrated with berry fruit with spice, pepper and smoke. Hints of graphite. Elegant and smooth on the palate. Very nice right now!

October 23, 2010 - Excellent cool region Syrah that showed lovely balance and finesse. Pepper, plum, spice - very nice. Opened up within the first 30 minutes - drinking beautifully. Wish I had more, I drank up the bulk of my holdings a bit too early...

December 26, 2008 - Popped and poured. Dark garnet, medium bodied wine. Big bouquet of blueberries with a little smoke; fruit forward palate of blackberry, a little spice; well integrated fine tannins, smooth transition into a nice lingering finish. Our first wine from Columbia Winery and definitely not our last. This was great stuff.
