September 25, 2016 - Rich and nicely concentrated with ripe orchard fruit showing tropical and roasted nut hints. Lush start, moderate structure emerges toward finish. Moderate length. Very good $20 bottle at release.
August 30, 2011 - Enjoyable Loire Chard. Not oaky. Small amount of apple flavor. Good acid. I let it linger on my tongue and got a silky smooth taste of the fruit which was a bit candied but not sweet.
May 21, 2010 - Ripe with lots of power and slightly sweet fruit. Enough background structure so it's worth the cellar a few years for better harmony. 89-90 point potential.
November 28, 2009 - All kinds of tasty. Nose of candy-like tropical fruit, reminds me of the fake candy banana scent in many older-styled candies. The palate is very pleasantly acidic. A wee bit bitter finish, but all in all a very pleasant wine. Would buy again at 22 dollars (my cost), but it seems wine-searcher's cheapest price is 32 dollars at this point.
November 5, 2009 - Vin joyeux, avec une attaque fraîche et de la matière. Elevage discret. C'est néanmoins un peu "techno" et assez court.
September 17, 2009 - I could drink this every night. Lovely acidity, plenty of fruit coming across, and not any alcohol or oaky intrusions.
September 13, 2008 - Nose is smaller than I expected for a chardonnay.Tastes of apples. Nice finish. Good, but not much of a value at $24.99/bottle.
