September 14, 2009 - Nose of dark fruit & some spice. Sour berries & a bit of rhubarb really come through on the palate, with a good balance of oak & tannins. Medium-length finish.

August 12, 2009 - When I first opened this, it was a bit cold and had a cheap tanginess to it I didn't like. However the second day that had disappeared and it was drinking pretty well.

June 4, 2009 - I agree with the other tasting notes on the nose; green pepper definitely there. Good bottle for the price: even mouthfeel, no hard burn. Will stock up for "everyday" consumption.

May 25, 2009 - Lots of artificial spice, pepper, and sour cherry in the aromas. Jammy berry and cherry palate. Spicy aftertaste. Not memorable.

May 12, 2009 - Drank bottle over a couple of nights. 2nd night was a bit better. Distinctly better 2nd night as the flavors mellowed. Distinct berry nose. Passable as a simple everyday wine.

April 13, 2009 - Challenging nose - burned green peppers. Greens on the palate (artichoke?). I don't look for fruit bombs, but this has too little fruit for me. Better value wines out there for $6.

February 25, 2009 - No tasting notes but just meh despite a rather eclectic blend of grapes.
