April 8, 2016 - I liked this wine. It was a youthful 10 years old, with lovely raspberry and cherry fruit flavors, a little cranberry, some vanilla, earth and forest floor. We had it with grilled Atlantic salmon and wild rice, and it was a good pairing. We paid $20 on close-out: very good QPR for that. Jen was less fond of it than I was, but I liked its somewhat understated tone. I'd drink now with a great meal.

February 5, 2016 - Nice but staring to fade. Strawberries and cherries with a hint of chocolate on the finish.

December 25, 2015 - Lovely and seductive, it's drinking incredibly well with cranberry-orange, plum, and spice and good tannic grip supporting the fruit and letting it shine. It needs a little air to fully open up and come together and doesn't look to be fading any time soon.

December 12, 2015 - earthy blood like flavors give way to cherry and berries and then finishes with a smooth finish.
November 27, 2015 - Dark red with medium transparency. Morello cherry, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon on the nose. Palate has plummy cherry notes with cinnamon and and some woodsy notes somewhere between cedar, sandalwood, and cola. Consistent with prior notes and in its time. Drink up with gusto.

(Rhys Alesia Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast) (Tasted 1 year before release.) Light medium cherry red color with pale meniscus; big, focused, tart strawberry nose with a touch of caramel oak; tart strawberry and red fruit palate, showing some sweetness and also some iron toward the medium finish 91+ pts.
