July 11, 2016 - Well stored bottle right from the cellar of my mums house.
At the rim rusty red, in the middle fresh violett.
Nose: Barnyard left after 10 min. Followed by a fantastic development.
At first red cherries, hints of cedar and tobacco.
After 30 min. dark chocolate and coffee came along with aromas of old saddle leather.
Palate: Solid fruit of red cherries..rather light.. hints of graphite. At day two the fruit was still there. Best mature Bordeaux I've tasted so far... one bottle left.. -

April 22, 2015 - My friend and I enjoyed this with strip steak at Bern's Steak House in Tampa, FL. It retained some red fruit (cranberry, cherry and red currant) along with a faint hint of old leather. Some secondary development. Although not an esteemed vintage, I thought it was quite pleasant with dinner.
