March 31, 2023 - Opened at the All-Star Dinner by Zachy's in HK. P&P and shared, small glass sample.

Very nice red fruit and tertiary notes, but otherwise felt a bit tired. Lots of sediment unsurprisingly, and would encourage drinking up at this point.

November 17, 2015 - Pnp. The wine was still fresh upon opening with red fruit, sous bois, and stems. The palate had tea leafs, mint, round and structured red fruit with softened tannins. This should be consumed now and enjoyed within the first 2 hours after the wine was opened. The wine was in excellent condition.

June 26, 2015 - Post Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Small pour, brief note. Lovely and charming with good overall balance. No signs or rot as seen on my many 1983s. Drink up.

May 21, 2014 - This particular bottle was in splendid condition. It smelt like a Morey Grand Cru, probably a good thing really. There was a suggestion of blue fruits and a strap of liquorice threading through the aroma and flavour profile. It was pure with no artifice, showing some sous bois, moss, black tea and freshly tilled earth tertiary development traits. It was fine and energetic in the mouth with good detail and finishing with a little ash and pine needle sap.
