December 4, 2016 - 3 hour decant then to restaurant. Wine is remarkably young and dark at 15 and even after a decant. Wonderful earthiness, with some cedar/tobacco but quite a bit of deep dark fruits and continued to evolve and improve with time throughout dinner

November 6, 2016 - Lovely wine with excellent depth and long earthy finish. Seems to be at peak as it faded after an hour or so.

October 9, 2016 - Decanted 2 hrs. Soooo nice to finally have a Bordeaux that with out question, tastes like a Bordeaux. So many recent vintages have me scratching my head. Aromatically inviting, open aromas of cassis and wood smoke, and a small touch of horse saddle. Dark cherry and the classic Graves 'scorched earth' is really an appropriate descriptor, the fruit is lively and has a great lift in the mouth. Precise and well focused on the finish. I loved this and should drink well for quite some time.

September 29, 2016 - Continues to drink brilliantly. Dark blue fruit, perfectly ready now, needs an hour decant. Tasting notes v similar to my last bottle, just a little fatter. Like me.

91 pts
