September 26, 2013 - I loved this wine. It was a monster and I loved it. This needs at least a decade in the cellar to really enjoy it. This is from Spring mountain so that means mountain fruit and hence massive tannins. I love it and it was dense and thick in my favorite manner. Long lasting finish which I still remember. Unforgettable.

September 15, 2013 - Winorama with a surprise (engagement)!; 9/15/2013-9/18/2013 (Napa Valley California): Tasted at Founders Room. This one just jumped from the glass right at the start. Might have been my favorite over the course of the tasting (truly hard to pick so I've abstained from actually naming one). This was rich with leather and chocolate and blackberries. The other wines caught up a bit, but there was so much character and complexity here (I believe it might be higher elevation than the others - located on Spring Mountain). Just a fantastic wine.

October 8, 2012 - Wines of Luxury at Chicago Cut (Chicago Cut): Rich big structured. Darker fruit than the rest. Higher elevation. Really ripe and almost a little jammy. Well polished.

July 31, 2012 - No question this is a very good wine, but I was expecting more. Opened and decanted 90 minutes before drinking, it was still tight on the open. Nice full body and outstanding fruit. I anticipated more complexity which might be still to come.

July 22, 2012 - Putting Bonds together; 7/1/2012-7/30/2012: No detailed notes - from memory as I just enjoyed it - light fruit and heavy tannins with long term potential.
