November 24, 2014 - Gorgeous fruit with a distinctive nose. Parker captures it better than Spectator in his notes. Drank over two nights. Wonderful. Has some time left but doubt it goes well past 2020. Score [ 50 + 14 + 17 + 8 ] = 94

November 9, 2014 - Decanted in a smaller decanter and drank over two hours. Smooth and black fruit filled. Did not notice the high alcohol percent at all. Medium finish. Deb liked it more.

October 11, 2014 - Lot's of dark fruit and well integrated tannins with a touch of pepper. Really enjoyed this wine.

July 3, 2014 - Beautiful darkish fruit with lovely and generous blueberry highlight on the nose leaps from the decanter; decadent Napa fruit with a touch of white pepper/mineral on the palate. Delicious, but serious...although tannins beginning to round nicely since last taste over a year ago. Decant carefully; a generous amount of fine sediment needs to be left behind before you pour this with abandon! Wonderful...

March 20, 2014 - Decanted 3 hours. Deep purple color with slight haze. Aromatic cassis, toasted oak & pine tar. Full-bodied, high, round tannins. Intense flavors of violets, black sugar plums, tar, stewed plums, black cherry & raspberry. Long, biting finish of raw baking chocolate. Paired well with beef brisket. Will improve over next 3-4 years. Makings of a truly outstanding juice!
