January 14, 2024 - Remaining half bottle previously dispensed by Coravin. Nose of black cherry, almond, date, tangerine and vanilla. Black cherry, almond, date, vanilla and spice on the palate. Very long, layered finish. Served with a white chocolate frosted, chocolate cake with raspberry filling.

Not my taste. May need another 10 years if it ever comes around...

April 28, 2023 - Drinking well, just starting to show some maturity- still quite youthfull, big fruit, vanilla, coffee, herbs- full in th emouth, dropped a lot of sediment.

February 18, 2023 - Dispensed 1/2 bottle by Coravin. Black cherry, date, walnut, nutmeg and tangerine peel aromas and flavors. Rich and ripe with a long, layered finish. Excellent depth. Full bodied. Served with chocolate soufflé. Gorgeous wine and nice pairing.

October 8, 2022 - DnP. Dark red, 6.5. Surprisingly fruity smelling, intense fruity palate, medium sweet, still no tertiary stuff, long fruity finish. Drink now-2050
August 3, 2022 - This wine opened with a dense crimson-purple colour and a rich bouquet of blackcurrants, dark raspberries, glazed cherries, Christmas spice, dark chocolate and lavender. The palate is intense with with those rich fruit and Christmas cake characters with touches of lavender and dark chocolate leading to a balancing spine of spirit and sophisticated tannins. Great wine !
July 3, 2022 - Stellar! A symphony of dark red cherries, perfectly balanced. I bought this bottle before it was produced and cellared it for more than 20 years... What a treat! 😃
