July 8, 2013 - Really nice. Lots of aromatics featuring fresh cut fruits, stones and dried flowers/leaves. Palate has both round fruit and crisp mineralic acidity, decent length. Only the golden hue gives away its age. Fabulous match to seared scallops over a green salad and potato gillette.
June 30, 2013 - Crisp and delightful. Made in the French style. Mineral, apples , lemon. Last of the lot. Having with pizza I made. Does well to match the acidity of the sauce and balance of the fat of the cheese
October 27, 2012 - Crisp, elegant, seamless, citrus and mineral driven. Quite lovely.
February 12, 2012 - Drinking quite well at this stage Still has similar characteristics to my prior evaluations. Lemon, touch of creme brulee/custard, baked apple, minerals, and not overly manipulated oak. Quite elegant; crisp. A long velvety finish. Pairs very nicely with butter fried Opah fish, with a lemon, miso and honey sauce.
September 4, 2011 - Dinner party with friends. Similar to my notes of 1/8/11. Lightly toasted and well integrated oak, lemon, crème brulee/custard, minerals. Crisp and clean. Good acid. Nice finish.
January 8, 2011 - Lightly toasted oak, minerals, custard, lemon. Clean - i.e., not overly manipulated. Nose is a little Burdundian-like; in the mouth it's Californian. Decent finish. Good acid. Nice with salmon.
November 16, 2010 - Similar to previous note. Seems to be a crowd pleaser.
November 14, 2010 - Stone fruits, lemon, butter and flint on the nose; big and rich style, lemony butter with lively acidity and a long finish; love the style, but there are others from the central coast that are better (Brewer-Clifton, Diatom).
June 23, 2010 - Nice, enjoyable chardonnay. Oak and alcohol were contained in moderation. One could even call this somewhat Burgundian, but I wouldn't necessarily. The fruit truly has a different taste to it than many of our favorite chardonnays from RRV or Sonoma Coast. Would recommend.
June 2, 2010 - Delicate, floral aromas with a little bit sweet overtones, beautifully extracted unmistakably Californian chardonnay. Feminine in style, showing in midpalate neither a buttery/oak nor mineral/apple tones. Drinks impeccably now. A-
