February 23, 2021 - Pristine bottle, eighth from a case purchased in 2013. Not decanted, opened three hours in advance. The previous bottle, tasted two years ago, was unexciting, but this one is showing well. Pale golden colour; beautifully developed nose, nuance and precision, depth and lift, jasmine and lemon, honeyed richness and youthful freshness, savoury oak; the medium-bodied palate (13% ABV) displays remarkable youthful freshness and ditto aromas - particularly from the Sauvignon Blanc, lemon curd, the oak is perfectly integrated and the minerally energy bodes well for the future; good resonance and length.

August 11, 2020 - excellent. Peaked. Superb with fried pickerel as always

April 16, 2020 - Diesel, viscous and oily. Like a mature white burgundy crossed with a German Riesling Kab on the nose. Getting on but enjoyable nonetheless.

August 22, 2019 - Oxidized. Left it too long. Clearly this was once a lovely, rich, complex wine. . . .
