May 13, 2020 - This bottle was singing. Not sure if the longevity on these was to be this glorious on the long term, but this one was singing. Brilliant sunflower yellow color. Loquat, mint, lemon rind, pineapple on the nose. Carrying flavors on the medium minus palate. Beautiful balanced fruit with acid and a snappy sweetness Focused. Good length. This wine is drinking well over its price point. Very fine. Enjoyed with Jagerschnitzel & Pilzrahmsosse.

January 12, 2016 - Perfectly good Spatlese. At this stage, no petrol on the nose. More in the rocky, mineral arean with green apples, tropical melon, yellow plum, and great acid. Sweet attack and then the golden raisin carries the palate. Pure fruit! This wine is only in about 2nd gear, and has LOTS of life left. Happy to have more of this in the cellar. I wish it had a little more balance, and complexity that is keeping my assessment score down.

June 21, 2011 - Theise/Skurnik DI tasting. Drinking very well now; freshly picked apples and limes on a slender frame.
