January 17, 2015 - Had this with a NY strip steak after 45 minute decant. Spectacular. We have a lot of Napa Cabs from this era and this is the best we've had recently. Tracked down more bottles at a DC wine shop.

February 3, 2014 - Wonderful nose, full bodied mountain fruit.

August 13, 2013 - Nose was a bit reticent but opened up over time. Age has definitely mellowed the fruit here and everything is nicely integrated, if maybe a bit thin on the mid-palate. Finish is surprisingly robust with tannins that are clearly present but not astringent. I wouldn't want to leave too much longer in the bottle (2 years?) but beautiful now.

June 9, 2013 - Decanted for a half-hour. Strong notes of cedar; rich; red and black currants; powdery, well-integrated tannins. In the slot.
December 31, 2012 - The wine looks Purple colored. It smells like Red Currant, Blackberry, Lead Pencil, and Vanilla. It tastes like Cranberry, Red Currant, and Strawberry Jam. The body is Full. The wine finishes Long.
