January 28, 2023 - Good red. Consistent with most folks' notes. Claret style. Surprisingly great provenance on this bottle. Ex-cellar 2018. The Cab Franc really shines through with its red fruit domination. Merlot is in the background with just enough body to make it appealing.

November 21, 2022 - Nice, easy drinking wine with fruit and jam. Strong tannins on finish. Some sediment made it a little muddy at the end of the bottle, even with decant.

December 15, 2021 - Mediocre. 2005 was a phenomenal vintage in Bordeaux, which is why I bought it. Then I remembered the old saying, “better a better chateau in a poorer vintage than a poorer chateau in a better vintage”. Well, you get my drift.
