  February 21, 2016 - Stumbled across this 750 under a bunch of 375s and glad that I did. Haven't given our port stems a workout in years! Coravin'd a few glasses and am VERY IMPRESSED. Still has deep violet coloring, sawdust, violets, dried thyme on the nose. Candied plum, blackberry and hint of fig. Extracted dark fruit shows its age, flavored with vanilla and heavily toasted - but old - barrel. As Bambam notes, no heat at all. This is in a wonderful place at present and doesn't appear to be in any rush. Clearly a new-world twist on the varietal but impressive and enjoyable.

  July 29, 2011 - Fantastic, this is ageing very well. It is quite smooth and rounded at this point. Lovely sweet pure fruit with no heat. While this has many more years ahead of it I just can't see it getting much better than now.

  February 19, 2005 - Boy- this is as good as a vintage port. Deep, sweet fruit and leather tones. Long, long finish No sign of this ageing.

  September 18, 2004 - NOT OVERDONE. DEEP BERRY FRUIT IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR. WENT WELL WITH DESSERT. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.
