May 29, 2020 - In a night of wonderful wines, this one stood out the most. Pristine cork and so youthful in aroma and flavors. Just so fresh and vibrant. Lots of red fruit, tobacco and mineral. Long bright finish. Really outstanding.

July 8, 2008 - Clos Fourtet vertical (Institute of Directors, London): Much better than the 1989 or 1990 - this had a silky texture, fresh sweet fruit, the tannins absorbed - a good refreshing mature light claret
