June 9, 2011 - It tastes very good. I like it. It s supposed to go with baked ziti. I haven't tried this yet but will try when the baked ziti is ready to eat.
September 5, 2010 - Probably a better match with hearty pasta than a BBQ, this had a very floral nose. Medium bodied, this had some nice black berry, raspberry and earth flavors that led to a nice finish.
April 7, 2010 - A light ruby color, and a light, almost sour, taste. All right as an every day wine, but nothing to write home about.
March 3, 2010 - Light Ruby color. Fruit on the nose (strawberries?) and light fruit in taste. A rather hot finish (a mild lack of balance, though only 13% alc).
January 16, 2010 - dry rich cherry or plum like flavors. Had with steak which it fit with well.
July 10, 2009 - An enjoyable Chianti with a nose of cherries and a touch of earth and slight anise lurking in the background. Very smooth on the palate with tastes of ripe cherry, fruity enough to give an impression of sweetness. The wine is balanced with soft tannins and finishes with cherries and a little white pepper.
