January 17, 2021 - ‘Unfortunately a bit over the top. Okay but not great on the first day, but it started fading soon. My memory of tasting this smokey red in the village of St. Emillion was much better, although it was lacking a bit of dept. I hoped that would improve, but no.’

August 8, 2016 - A BIT EARLY TO DRINK. OTHEWISE, NICE BALANCE, SILKY

September 25, 2010 - Way to early for this one. Drunk after a 2 hour decant and 24 hours later.sl e hints at dark fruit on the nose bit of spice box. Medium bodied with very prominent tannins. Dark fruit and leather. It doesn't have the reputed ripeness and balance one is supposed to find in a 2005 Bordeaux-but then again I really shouldn't have opened it. I doubt whether this is ever going to tickle my fancy. Come back in 2013.
