May 31, 2016 - Maderised and clunky which is a too bad. I hope it is just bottle variation as I have a few more.

May 12, 2016 - Hasn't changed much since December 2014; the nose continues to be expressive and wonderfully classical, but the palate is thinning slightly and I feel that the delivery in the mouth and on the finish now lacks a bit of authority and dimension - especially for Les Clos. Very good Chablis, but drink sooner rather than later.

March 2, 2016 - Same btl as R&R. I'm in complete agreement with his notes. Loved this btl! Wish now I had grabbed a couple of them for the cellar. This was delicious and fascinating tonight and yet it's current wound up tension promises even more down the road. This should age beautifully.

March 2, 2016 - Wines That Really, Truly Don't Suck (in the least) (Rocknroller's (Kevin's)): Pale greenish color. Drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. This had plenty of Chablis character. It might have been a tad warm, or it probably have been even more vital. The nose was full of sea air and bracing minerality, lemon, but a bit less fruit showing on the nose. The palate was rather intense, almost a bitingly intense minerality (in a good way), intense, lemon, citrus, lime, fairly full bodied for Chablis, lots of salinity, good mineral driven length. Seems like the best days are still ahead. 92+ to 93pts.

February 4, 2016 - Still light yellow with a trace of green. Wow, so much pink grapefruit right out of the gate that it almost transports you to Sancerre. It also starts out atypically light and delicate for Les Clos. With air, though, more body appears along with some herbs and orange. What doesn't change is the beautiful underlying acidity and the long finish that is full of soil. In the end, amazingly fresh and nicely detailed, but it just doesn't have the extra oomph of the very best examples of this cru.
