March 13, 2016 - Medium body. Purple color with some bricking. Dark cherry and pepsin nose. Little sediment, but enough where decanting is necessary. Soft and sweet tannins. Mild acidity. Flavors of cherry cola, linzer tart, and blueberry. Drink now, but has a few more years. 13%abv.

November 23, 2015 - after 5 hours in the bottle it gained weight and depth. earthy, mushroom, just enough fruit and a surprising bit of tannins. great wine and even better with food.

April 4, 2014 - Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Roswell, GA): Darker crimson, see through with light rim; caraway, vegetal, red fruit, cranberry, strawberry, aged; richer on the palate, ripe cranberry, strawberry, some tannin body and alcohol; some thought Barolo-nope, good, well aged.
