December 13, 2019 - Drank very nice
February 17, 2018 - Better than the disastrous bottle opened a few years ago, but this was still not great. Used most of it for cooking. Fruit is somewhat faded and still has some bitterness.
January 5, 2018 - Probably just wasn't built to last this long. Basically had fallen apart and was undrinkable.
June 2, 2017 - Very soft tannins and nice complexity. Enjoyable finish but left me wanting for more. This is our next to last bottle in our cellar and we should consume the last one soon, as this wine has peaked.
April 23, 2016 - Very nice international red wine. Concentrated but quite smooth. Likeable wine, but not easy to identify as cabernet sauvignon.
February 25, 2016 - We popped and poured this wine. Deep dark crimson color. Toffee, chocolate, pencil lead, mint and licorice waft up in the glass. Pleasant layers of dried figs, licorice, toast, cherries and black pepper on the palate. Nice finish with balanced tannins and acidity. Very nice wine. We have two more bottles in our cellar which should be consumed this year. More aging is not necessary.
June 19, 2015 - Great wine value. Tanins have softened fruit still has a long linger, I thought this was drinking quite well at this age
December 20, 2014 - - Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of tar, blackberry, black pepper, dusty and menthol and has flavours of blackberry, tar and dusty - Very tight and some tannins early but starts to open after about 2-3 hours. Quick to form legs. Still very dry on the tongue but nice and long linger on the tongue and the fruits just hang. TAKE YOUR TIME TO FIGURE THIS OUT. DONT BE EARLY OR in A HURRY WITH THIS ONE.
October 26, 2014 - Still a little young and tight, fruit not well developed. Recommend 1-2 hours of decanting.
September 18, 2014 - Drinking really nicely right now.
