April 15, 2016 - Wonderful black cherry nose. Great currant backbone and flavors if black cherry and mocha that explode . Long 30 second finish of cherry fruits that coat the mouth . Wow.

April 15, 2016 - Drank in honor of Barbara's passing. Some tannins remain, mostly dark purple fruit of plum and spice. Certainly ready to drink, but in no way going over the hill. Very good to excellent. 88

    Tasted non blind.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of berries, plums and flowers. Flavors of berries, plums and cassis. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.
