October 2, 2016 - We decanted and drink over two hours. The wind develops a great deal over that time. I personally the balance of fruit and minerality/spice was tremendous about an hour in. Tannins are silky smooth and fruit starts dark as a PnP but evolves to lighter with more cherry, although think dark cherries right around the pit as opposed to Ranier. There are definite floral notes, I get rose in the late bouquet. Just lovely. So much going on. The minerality deserves a mention too, some crushed stone but also tar and slight tobacco. Just beautiful.
For me I will drink this a touch younger than most of my Barolos although the acidity is there for it to age well, but I like the balance here.

April 17, 2016 - - It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Narrow texture with a long finish - Let bottle sit open for 2 hours. High alcohol on the nose. Complex wine with even fruit. Drank over the course of the evening and it improved.

February 22, 2016 - - It's high in alcohol with a light body. Silky texture with a short finish - Pop one of these, decanted and let air for two hours. One gets better as it sits out drink the bottle over the next two hours or so. If you're not as big a fruit flavor as I anticipated but it was still wonderful.

April 4, 2014 - Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Roswell, GA): Crimson core with orange rim; cherry, rose, sandalwood, sexy, rich, hints at some oak; rich rounded mouthfeel, cherry meat, tannic, licorice, some cedary tannin, really strong cherry; delicious, I really enjoyed the texture of this.

September 1, 2013 - The cork was completely soaked, with some minor leakage. I decanted the wine for one hour before I poured the first glass, poured it back into the bottle after 2 1/2 hours, and consumed it over a period of two days. The wine was very tight on day one despite decanting, but opened-up over the night. It offered rose petals, red fruit, hey and spices on the nose. On the palate the wine showed red fruit, red cherry, rosewater, some chocolate and some black tea, paired with high dry but ultra-fine tannin and very good length. The medium-bodied, medium-complex wine was very balanced and offered much more drinking pleasure on day two than on day one.
