July 21, 2020 - PNP. Dark brick color. Dark red cherry and black cherry. Baking spice, gentle forest floor, and some mineral notes. Nice balance, still in a nice place.

January 20, 2017 - Great Oregon Pinot through and though. Soft fruit with a nice cut, forest floor and mushroom notes. Very nice Pinot drinking well now.

April 12, 2016 - Really nice lighter styled Pinot, with a fantastic core of acidity giving it a terrific energy. Black cherry fruit with forest floor notes. Moderate finish. On the lighter side but solid complexity.

December 3, 2015 - I really enjoyed this. Expressive wine. Aromatic nose of cherry and forest floor. Palate showed clean red fruits and goes into the finish with a little zip that really cleans the palate. Finish is long but a bit simple, offering repeating cherry notes and a little mineral. Seems to be drinking really well now.

January 18, 2014 - More than three years on since the last sampling; I cannot believe that it was better than this before. A pity then that this is the last of the '07. A tricky vintage for many but I think Todd did an excellent job with this. Clear garnet, perfumed aroma, floral notes and candy, bright tart cherries, smoothly textured. Uncomplicated but nicely balanced.

July 28, 2013 - Light and fruity, but with decent balance. Not a lot of earthy characteristics, at least not yet. Maybe later? Pretty sure these will age gracefully for some time yet.

February 4, 2013 - When I first popped this I actually just thought it was the WV bottling. Oops. Turns out it was a pretty good time to open the Ana so no harm no foul. Typical 07. Refreshing to drink. Spice and cherry fruit. High acidity. Acid haters should flee. Bright and juicy. The stems seem to be the boss of the finish. Earthy and stemmy. Would have preferred things be a little cleaner.

November 11, 2012 - I've had several elegant, enjoyable 07 OR Pinots. This is not one of them. A pale, clear garnet color, with an autumnal nose of leaves and earth - all good. But on the palate, thin and reedy, with an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. I'm willing to concede that this is probably a stylistic difference of opinion - after trying several B-H wines I can safely say they aren't especially to my taste.
