January 20, 2018 - Intricate and somewhat delicate bouquet that has dark chai teas and red cherry cola spice. Distinctive DRC wood varnish / polish. The palate is quite vibrant with syrupy black and blueberry fruit. Oak is loud. Subtle smoke on both nose and palate. The ‘88 Echezeaux the other night had more character.
