July 19, 2019 - First Washington Sangiovese. Very unique and enjoyable. Thick, almost syrupy body on the first day, less acidity than an Italian Sangiovese. Picked up a bit of acidity and lost some sweetness on day 2.
    Would buy again.

February 1, 2019 - Dark, ripe and delicious. Polished and smooth on both the nose and palate, soft cherry and red plum fruit with a really long finish.

December 31, 2017 - Ready to drink, but a bit sappy and lacking any interesting secondary development. Speaks more to it's Washington origins and than its Italian aspirations. Don't know that holding these will yield any improvement--there's not much acid here to support continued cellaring.

August 28, 2017 - Very pleasant smooth - really great drinking during Hurricane Harvey. Tannins nicely balanced.

January 2, 2017 - Drank over the course of 6 hours, really didn't develop or open much in the glass. Fruit is very subdued at this point and the palate was lacking the satisfaction I would have expected. Hoping that this was an off bottle.

February 25, 2016 - I would agree with the previous note to a degree, no rush but don't wait years. I drank this bottle without food and enjoyed it. Tannins are resolved. Nose shows some dark fruits and leather and was absolutely lovely. A little heavy on the oak initially that made me think the fruit was gone and I would be left with a hollow oak monster however this faded to the background over the course of an hour. Leather notes carry through to the medium length finish. Well made wine and quite enjoyable but as I said I would not wait much longer to pop the cork.
