January 10, 2014 - Outstanding. Unbelievable richness and finish. The roussanne component is really starting to show. One of the better aged California white Rhone blends I've had, outside of a Sine Qua Non.

August 16, 2011 - Outstanding Roussanne-Marsanne blend; wonderfully fragrant nose. Roussanne is one of those varietals one must drink either early or late; this could probably have gone another six months to a year.

October 10, 2010 - A couple of cases on a Saturday afternoon: Gee, a Peay wine. Is Kemp here? But of course. Light golden in color. The nose is clean with seltzer and some wax. Nice texture. The palate has this vanilla Turkish Taffy thing going on which is interesting. It really became more pronounced with air. While distracting at first, I really liked it. Another very good Peay wine. Keep em coming Kemp!

July 5, 2010 - medium hay and light honey in color, this bottle is holding up beautifully, with nice depth of fruit, persimmon, bees wax, a little roasted almond, finishing with just a splash of honeyed sweetness and just the right amount of fresh acidity.

January 18, 2010 - My guess is that this wine is in a slightly awkward stage, not with the fresh brisk quality when new, but not yet enough of the secondary characteristics that are starting to develop to please in that aged rhone white way--that being said nose has a bit of mushroom/marzipan and some kind of tropical fruit, followed by plenty of acidity, thyme like herbal and mineral flavors. Finish is subtle and hard to describe, but good.
