February 27, 2012 - Raisiny, porty barbera. This was OK, but it finished with a baked fruit aftertaste, most of it was used for cooking though. Nowhere near 2007 vintage of the same wine. 84-85

August 6, 2010 - Big wine. Hot at first. But that blew off after 30 min it was all juicy chewy fruit. Tasty. But the 2007 is much much better.

mouth - very chocolatey and chewy. Full bodied with dark fruits but verging on overrripe. A touch bitter, and almost vermouthy in quality.
