April 10, 2014 - Perfumy without the mineral edge that I favor in Puligny Montrachet. To me, more like a jazzed up Macconais.

March 27, 2014 - White Frenchies at Sea Change (Sea Change at the Guthrie, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. This was good, introverted currently, minerals, lemon, citrus, floral. Medium full body, medium finish, earthy, brisk minerality, citrus. Lean. Could flesh out with some time? 91(+?)

March 27, 2014 - I like this wine but it definitely needs more cellar time to reveal its magic. If, I owned it, I wouldn't touch it for another 2 years or so. That said, it shows great balance and precision but needs to flesh out. If you open one now it might be better on night 2. Youthfully vigourous and and just slightly unfriendly right now. Drinking more like an amped up Muscadet at this point.

March 22, 2014 - P&P and served with grilled Loup de Mer with green algae and soy sauce. eye: bright yellow with some green refelexes. crystal clear. nose: white fruit including peach, citrus, flintstone, hint of dried hay, very expressive, no 'tropicality'. palate: amazing mouthfeel, medium body, very well balanced and integrated. dry (as one would expect). 16 Caudalie finish, stable. worthy representative of PM 1er. a delight. drink now (recommended) or until 2016.

September 26, 2013 - Apricot, exotic fruit, white flowers and wet stone on a great, complex nose

    Minerally, lean, steely
deep fruit at the end on the palate

Few hours later was even more elegant and restrained
