April 9, 2022 - Late night impromptu session. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of briney wet stones minerality, chalky limestone, citrus lemon-lime, intense sweet perfume, hint of roasted nuts. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salty saline minerality, wet stones, chalky limestone, citrus lemon-lime, large puff of chalk. Long finish with bit of bitter almond nut.
Very good quality. Lovely perfumed quality to the mineral driven nose. Gentle yet tasty palate. In the zone now.

October 30, 2021 - A small gathering at Bryan's (Bryan's place): Adam who brought the wine is relieved that the color is beautiful pale, i.e. not premoxed. Expressive nose displaying youthful mostly yellow citrus fruit with a hint of white, lemon curd, apple, spicy spices and limestone. Very good concentration, nicely layered perfectly ripe yellow fruit, dense but also fresh and precise, bright acidity and mineral, and a long concentrated yellow fruit driven finish. It lacks the fluid texture of the top GCs. It is an excellent 1er cru White Burgundy that can easily improve for a decade or more. Really enjoyable.

August 29, 2021 - This is still amazingly fresh, and as Roger's notes indicate it's full off lemon chiffon. Also very good! I'm now more inclined to hold on to some of these, as it could be a 25-40 year wine.

August 13, 2021 - Lovely fresh nose, citrus, peach.
Soft mouthfeel, a bit tropical with pineapple.
Mid-length. Gentle compared to the Coche and PYCM next to it but still delicious.
Coming back to this later (the Coche and PY were finished before we moved on to reds) it was clearly overwhelmed by the company. An absolutely gorgeous wine.

April 18, 2021 - Perfectly mature with freshness and oxidation working together in harmony. Bruised orchard fruit and mineral aromas. A gorgeous palate of rich fruit, honey, hardened minerals and fresh cut white florals. Sweet fruit in the long, fresh finish.

April 11, 2021 - Really fresh, young, youthfull tasting, lime/lemon notes with a touch of oak; very nice clean pure, bright. Can't believe it's 2007. DD at Crustacean.

June 27, 2020 - This bottle is fully mature and started to show golden. The palate is rich and dense with nice honey accents to the orchard, citrus and mineral character. Still a dose of freshness. I will drink my last bottle soon.

May 1, 2020 - I really like this - very assertive, chiseled, and minerally but by no means overly strict. Appealing yuzu, orchard fruit. Really expansive, yuzu lemon finish that bumps this to the next level.

June 16, 2019 - Last bottle of this and was probably the best of the bunch. Acidity still very present but now in balance. Great match with black cod and a grilled cabbage dish.
