  March 18, 1992 - At home at dinner (pizza). Good ruby color. Aromatic and sexy, with a good flashy, fruity character in the mouth. Very nice, as always with this particular wine. 5-10-15-7: 87/100.

  December 13, 1991 - At Singer & Foy survey of Chateau Montelena. Medium magenta color. Ripe crunchy raspberry fruit in the nose. It's unabashed, not meant for keeping. A real fruitasourus. Reminds me of a very good Beaujolais Nouveau. The palate is much more complex and intriguing, however, with a dark chocolate streak and LAYERS of flavors. Lovely. Very intriguing. 5-10-17-8: 90/100.
