Community Tasting Notes 3

March 12, 2015 - Opened for spring ritual. Lemony coloring. Oily petrol nose, flinty, lemon curd. green apple and lime. Sweetness is taming, but acidity buoys the medium weight of this superb example. Lemon chiffon on the palate, with clean green melon, lychee and key lime characteristics. A superb example from the vintage of the century.

September 8, 2009 - Similar to previous bottle - good / not great Spatlese.

June 27, 2009 - This was a winner. Mature, balanced real Spatlese (not too much sweetness) that went down quickly. Delicious – drink soon. This was a very good buy. (89)
