June 11, 2017 - Some say if you don't like white wine , try Corton Charlemagne. And they are right . This wine is in a good place . Fine citrus taste but layers of butter melt in your mouth . Love it !!

June 5, 2017 - Cork crumbled but wine was sound! Needed a bit of air. Struck match, lemon curd, marzipan, minerality, med + acid, long finish.

March 27, 2017 - A Few Whites: Lean lime nose. The fresh palate lacks a little depth, but it has fine minerality and power.

March 21, 2017 - This is in a great spot at the moment. Still feel fresh but huge acid backbone is now integrated with nuances of richness and this is singing. Lemon and lime well are lifted with nice white flowers notes and are blended well by fresh Madagascar vanilla bean, light maple syrup and grilled buttery bread. This is drinking well but no rush, will hold for 3-5 years easily.

February 11, 2017 - Alway afraid when opening white burgundy this age, but this is in pristine condition. Carafed one hour, intense aromas of ripe citrus, minerals (rubber?), white peach and some Vanilla. full bodied, great concentration, a really intense wine, long aftertaste dominated by citrus and minerals. Almost tanninc on the finish. This is a no less than great wine from a middle of the road vintage. Perfect With poached turbot.

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) So fresh, like flowers on slate. The golden-plum aromas and lip-smacking finish remind me of spring. Truly delicious.
