August 16, 2020 - Found a surprise in my cellar since I thought I had consumed this entire case. This bottle was surprisingly vibrant and full of fruit. I really do believe this was my last of a case that I bought when I was first getting into wine.

June 20, 2020 - Opened an '04 with our steak dinner and Coravin'd a glass of the '05 and '06 afterwards. All were dark, opaque coloring with garnet to more ruby each vintage. Similar across the board with cassis, blackberry, licorice, dusty cedar, and graphite notes. The '05 is notably more stony, graphite minerality, and the '06 is a bit more fruit and earth with dry spice notes. All are solid on the dark fruit spectrum and geared for a steak.
