April 23, 2016 - Good though drink now. Let decant three plus hours.

September 7, 2015 - This is the oldest Walla Walla wine I have had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the body and nose. Get it if you can. I just bought last three at local wine shop. Washington is the best value for red wines.

February 10, 2015 - tasting very nice at this perfect time

September 10, 2014 - Quick hit: dark fruits, tannins well integrated, nice balance, not a lot of change over 3+ hours. Solid+

March 5, 2014 - Initially tight - aeration definitely needed. Opened up into a robust cabernet, not as fruity as Napa. Well mixed oakiness and black fruits.

(Spring Valley Vineyards Frederick Walla Walla Valley) Lovely dried red fruits mix with rosehips and light earth aromas. A bold, powerful taste packed with tannins and coffee notes. Still needs a good deal of time. 54% Cabernet; 27% Cab Franc; 10% Merlot; 7% Petit Verdot; 2% Malbec. 15.4% alcohol. 3,000 cases produced.

(Spring Valley Vineyards Frederick Walla Walla Valley) Milk chocolate mixes with anise, rose petals, black licorice, dark berry, and cigar box aromas on a fairly elegant nose for a wine that packs such a big punch. Beautifully structured with an elegant tannin backbone that provides structure but doesn’t overpower. Will benefit from some time in the cellar. 54% Cabernet; 27% Cab Franc;10% Merlot; 7% Petit Verdot; 2% Malbec. 15.4% alcohol.
