    July 13, 2013 - Dark purple with a brownish rim. Tart strawberry, with medium level funk. dry, a touch of oak, some bitterness and thin in the mouthfeel. Medium-short finish.

    January 23, 2013 - Meh. This won't go much longer. Fresh and food friendly on day one, tired and dying on day 2.

    January 20, 2013 - PnP from 55F wine fridge. Odd aroma upon pouring which blew off quickly. 3rd bottle of night so no detailed notes, but this was elegant and subtle, with red fruit and a nice balance. The finish was quite long with some complexity as well. This wine paired well with Mediterranean steelhead. Best burgundy I've had at this price point in awhile.

    December 31, 2012 - Decent day 1 but I felt compelled to write about how this wine acts on day two. On two separate occasions, the wine had a strong rubber tire aroma. 1st time I thought maybe somehow the cork lent this aroma to the wine overnight but this last time I corked it with a glass stopper. Odd and I ended up having to dump it down the drain.

    December 22, 2012 - This improved significantly on day 2 (87 --> 89).
