September 26, 2015 - Very balanced wine with good structure and tannin. Full bodied and medium to long finish. Has some sediment to the bottle. Lacks delicious factor but still a bargain wine for the price.

January 5, 2013 - Opened this Sat and let it decant for 30 min. The bouquet is really complex and shows a wine of structure - berries, leather and some wet wood. On the palate, less weight than you would expect for the alcohol and the bouquet but still nicely structured, tannins already rounded but still there to keep this wine at this peak for about 1 or 2 years. So I disagree with CT's estimate of a longer life. Great wine for the buck and for the mid-week.

July 15, 2012 - Excellent mix of maturity and fruitiness. Full-bodied and enjoyable both by its own and with a meal of lamb stew.
