Community Tasting Notes 30

April 20, 2013 - I think vinopkm told me to buy this about 4 years ago and it's been hiding in the cellar since. Dark color at the core but starting to looked aged with burnt orange hue. Beautiful spice nose with stewed dark fruit. Ripe, but not sweet, fruit palate with Spicy black pepper, clove and sandlewood. Long finish with a touch of heat. Hangs with the best of cdp.

March 31, 2013 - A fruit bomb but in a good way. Intense nose of candied dark fruit. Tastes of black cherry, blueberry and black raspberry with a distinct hit of hazelnut coffee on the finish. Yummy.

November 13, 2012 - P & P. Closed on the first night. Saved 75% of the bottle. Next night was much better. Very good.

August 15, 2011 - The nose never really opened up, but the mid-palatte is full of dark fruit and the finish is lingering and smooth. Good alone or with our southern meal of fresh and fried veggies!!
