September 7, 2017 - Lovely bottle. Just on the right side of drinking in 2017 but no longer. Notes of deep plum, cherry and a touch of cedar with a supportive foundation that opened up generously over several hours.
May 29, 2012 - This continues to improve and is showing nicely now. Earthy red berry nose is a lot of fun and not typically found at this price; very italian; smooth red berry and baking spice, with a chocolately texture and well balanced medium finish.
August 23, 2011 - Earthy barnyard and tabacco nose, dark red color, leather, tabacco and cherry palate with smooth tannins, a solid acid structure and medium finish. Seriously good QPR here! This is doing well in the bottle, picking up 2 points since my last tasting 4 months ago. I think I was conservative the first time around.
April 24, 2011 - Good qpr. This is already showing well with earth and oak on the nose, integrated tannins, and balanced acidity. Well made given the price. A perfect house Super Tuscan. I'm using it for my wedding this summer!

January 14, 2011 - Thank god for my cellar. This has gone from a oaky dark thing to a more komplex slim appearance and all in aprox a year. A solid effort and a very good everyday wine, on the plus side it only coast about 11 euro. On the down side its still a lot of fregrance from the oak, but still I like.

S - Lite syltig av mogna körsbär, körsbärskärnor, hallonfudge, after eight
Klassisk sangiovese utan kalla tepåsar till pizza/pasta 7p
March 9, 2009 - Dark colour for a Sangiovese, nose a bit muted. It is still young. Medium to full-bodied with good tannins. A good effort, not dissimilar to the Fonterutoli 2006, though I believe that I prefer the Fonterutoli.
