December 25, 2016 - Perfect lemon colour, lustrous, beautiful.
Ripe citrus fruits, lemons limes and grapefruit. Some slight 'age' on the fruit adds depth and richness, but honey and honeysuckle florals finish it off nicely.
Supple, fleshy texture, lovely mouthfeel. Lemony, honeysuckle, orange rind, mineral zest and sherbet. Beautiful balance, timeless, with a long long clean finish. Damn good.

December 17, 2016 - Delicious. Incredible balance, depth. Incredibly fresh and lively still but with wonderful complexity--smokey, slightly herbal, earthy mushroom quality, a bit of tropical fruit left too. A top notch example of the best of Alsace. Served with roast guinea fowl, cabbage and spaetzle.

August 21, 2016 - Canele: deep golden color; at first slight oxy notes, but opened up to reveal slight nutty notes, honey, marzipan, burnt/caramelized pie crust-nectarine notes; mid-weight, a bit light in mid palate, but makes it lighter on its feet and more elegant. Complex and long. Perfect match for onion tart.

July 8, 2016 - (thanks to EB, drunk with LES, PA, PLG at Kitchen on Common. Perfect fill, cork fine pulled with Durand. Pop and pour). Fantastic nose, light yellow color, lime, stones, peaches, very full flavors and sleekly big fruit. Very long and persistent finish, indeed mouth watering. Precise wine yet full of exotic scents and flavors. Sure wish I had some of this juice! By recollection only Clos St Hune (also thanks to EB) outdoes this. Drinking really well now, no reason to rush to drink though. Wow.

April 26, 2016 - Two visitors, three birthdays and seventeen wines from all over. (ABA Turkish Restaurant): From magnum and as Kool & the Gang would say, "she's fresh (fresh,) exciting!" No real sign of petrol in this bottle, but it's full of its typical lime character with plenty of stoney mineral and light peach notes. Beautiful balance and depth here with age having rounded the edges off the acid spine, giving it a friendlier mouthfeel. A-/A.
