August 30, 2022 - Drank over two nights. The first glass and a half showed slight oxidation and with high-fumes but with good well-developed complexity. The CdP '07 prunes did rear their ugly heads at times, but by night2, I came to a conclusion that the grape source was of high quality in this wine and there was still decent depth with smooth, rounded fruit and some sappy flavors. That said, you want to drink this yesterday if not 5-years ago, as it like so many other '07 CdP are ultimately out of balance with this universe. I think I would have better enjoyed a fresher, more youthful version of this wine some ten years back.

October 7, 2021 - Spicy red berry nose at first. Touch of cured meat emerges with time. Rich mouth. Kirsch and licorice on the finish. A bit soft and rounded overall, so would like a touch more tannic grip on the finish. But pretty decent overall.
