May 29, 2013 - Drinking great right now. Nothing mind-blowing, but a balanced, smooth Burg with great cherry fruit and some earthy mineral complexity.

February 21, 2011 - Very nice; this bottle needed a couple of hours in a decanter to shine, but now, ~5 hours later feels a bit oxidized on the nose though with still some great minerality. The palate has quite a bit of bottle sweetness and some tannins still to resolve. I'd say this is still on the up slope.

January 25, 2010 - 90+ Got better with air. Very subtle nose at first but really opened up into a nice elegant wine.
Dark fruits and florals on the nose with some underlying earth tones- mushrooms and sous bois.
Silky mouth feel that brings a real nice delivery to the back end. Plums and minerals with a real
floral edge to it. Comes across as just hitting it's drinking window or needing a mega decant. Would
like to check in with it in a couple years.

January 24, 2010 - nose: nuanced and relatively feminine nose of brown spices, dark red cherries, dark florals, earth tones and some sour berries as well. Very good depth that is rather classy that takes a bit of air to start to reveal itself

taste: lovely and nuanced medium feel with excellent medium+ acidity. Pretty and balanced tones of dark red cherries, bits of earthen tones, dark florals, and sour red fruits all meld well together

overall: This had a good bit of air before drinking, and it still took a bit to fully get going. This is starting to get into a good zone and it certainly came off as wanting more time to fully show itself. Has a nice delicate quality to it right now that is attractivee

March 5, 2009 - No formal note, but this was enjoyable. Based on this bottle, I believe this has a while to go.
