December 18, 2021 - Tasted after 1 hour of air. Still fresh after 15 years of age. Round blue savory fruits. Excellent balance. Good mid palate and finish.

November 11, 2021 - Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Wow no clue this is a 15 year old wine. Still lively and fresh. Floral notes on the nose. Dark blue fruits on the palate. Plenty of lift. Savory notes. Medium finish. No rush on these.

December 11, 2016 - W lamb at The Vavras next to the 2007 meloria. Very different wine. Lighter in color and on palate. This also needs lighter fare. Drink up!

3/31/2009 (link) **** points(Gramercy Cellars Syrah Lagniappe Columbia Valley) Dark purple in color. An absolute stunner with an endlessly fascinating, refined nose on which the viognier shows through with pretty floral notes. Intense with a creamy mouthfeel accented by light cured meats and mesmerizing rhubarb threads. A seed component to this wine as well. Three hours decanting. Forgotten Hills and Minnick vineyards. 97% Syrah; 3% Viognier. 556 cases produced.
