July 28, 2023 - (First of 12, bought on release so probably affordable at the time). A solid Volnay that needs 30 mins of air to come together. Very drinkable but i doubt it will evolve a lot from here. Will stay there for a while though. Will try again next year.

August 13, 2014 - Dark cherry color. Nose of musky cherries, spice. Dark rich raspberry fruits, tar, menthol. My first impression was southern Brunello. This needs lots of time, but may prove to be an outstanding value in Volnay down the line.
