March 12, 2011 - Soft bodied. Cherries & bakers chocolate. None of the awful jammy-ness that infests many WA st. Bourdeaux blends in this price range. Solid value.
December 25, 2010 - Enjoyable. Round fruit, blueberry, cherry. Nice structure. Fleshy and full.
August 9, 2010 - solid. great producer & maker. popped and poured. nice perfume & strawberry laced nose. very polished and balanced, but mild tannins are present. red fruit jubilee. some bitter sweet chocolate in there. nice effort.
June 27, 2010 - Pretty nose, with blueberries, black cherries, spice and carnations; rich dark fruit flavors, spice, a touch of vanilla, and a nutty note, anchored by scrumptious tannins; very long finish, with black cherries on the back end. Best on the first day, suggesting a pop and pour approach. Absolutely wonderful Washington merlot.
