Community Tasting Notes 2

January 2, 2012 - Notes of dried cherry, spice and some earthiness, but lacking depth and complexities. The finish starts to grip but then gets cut short, its also on the tangy side. (Drink now) - JD

July 13, 2009 - Clear dark ruby core of moderate intensity with a light cherry edge and thin watery rim - youthful. Clean nose of moderate intensity with some funkiness - smoky, earthy and plummy. Dry with moderate body, acid, tannin and alcohol. Modest pepper and fruit flavours with some earthy tones. Moderate length smoky and earthy finish. Drink now - Good for the money but not exceptional. Good BBQ wine.
